“False Hope?”

January 4th, 2008 | by Mara

Hillary Clinton is advising voters in New Hampshire that, "We can’t have false hopes. We’ve got to have a person who can walk into that Oval office on day one and start doing the hard work that it takes to deliver change."

In her desperate scramble to recover from Iowa, she is doing everything just short of claiming to have been the *real* president during Bill Clinton’s two terms - something many Americans thought all along anyway.  But, here’s my question:  What experience did Bill Clinton have when he became President?  He’d been govenor of Arkansas.  Big Whoop.  Inspite of his lack of experience, and his inability to keep his dick in his pants, he still turned out to be a decent President.  Not to mention, isn’t this the same way Bush Sr ran against Bill Clinton?  He claimed we should vote for him because he had experience as Vice President and as President?  Well, inspite of his experience, he was a lousy President.  There’s a reason he only served one term.
